Effective date: June 17, 2026
Short version: SnoreLog records audio locally on your device. Nothing leaves your iPhone. We collect no personal data, have no servers, and include no tracking or advertising SDKs.
SnoreLog does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:
SnoreLog requests microphone access solely to record sleep audio. The app will explain this the first time you use it. You can revoke microphone access at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
Recordings are saved to the application's private storage on your device and are not accessible to other apps.
SnoreLog stores the following data locally, only on your iPhone:
You can delete individual sessions from the session detail view, or remove all data by opening Settings inside the app and tapping "Delete All Recordings and Records." Deleting the app removes all associated data.
SnoreLog does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or cloud storage services. There are no third-party SDKs in the app.
SnoreLog does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected at all, no special handling is needed.
SnoreLog is a personal sleep sound recording tool for trend reference only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or screen for any medical condition, including sleep apnea. If you experience symptoms such as choking awakenings, excessive daytime sleepiness, or long-term severe snoring, consult a qualified clinician.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Since we collect no data, changes are unlikely to affect you.
